I’m a 42-year-old army veteran and entrepreneur with a deep background in construction, design, and outdoor remodeling. After serving in the military, I first built a successful photography business, capturing lasting moments for clients. Over time, that creative drive naturally led me back to my longtime passion for construction, 

Since then, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience managing large-scale residential projects, overseeing construction teams, and running a construction company for others. That combination of field experience, design thinking, and architectural understanding allows me to approach outdoor remodeling differently not as a collection of separate features, but as one complete environment.

That philosophy ultimately led me to develop the 3-Zone System™, our proprietary planning method that organizes a property into the Arrival Zone™, Living Zone™, and Activity Zone™. The system helps us create better flow between entrances, gathering spaces, outdoor kitchens, fire features, pools, spas, turf, hardscape, and the way a family actually uses the property.

Today, I’m proud to lead Build Up Remodeling and a skilled team that shares my commitment to quality, reliability, and thoughtful design. I bring the same discipline, precision, accountability, and work ethic I learned in the Army to every project, with one goal: creating outdoor spaces that are functional, visually striking, and designed to improve the way our clients live at home.
