This Porter Ranch home was transformed into a resort-style outdoor space designed for everyday living and entertaining.
The backyard features a new pool and a sunken outdoor kitchen as the focal point of the design. Concrete with turf joints, low-maintenance turf, and a block planter wall finished in brown stucco add structure and balance. Palm trees bring a classic Southern California look, while an aluminum patio cover defines the main lounge area.
Finished with LED lighting throughout, the front and backyard now feel cohesive, modern, and inviting day and night.
Before the Transformation
The property originally consisted of:

- Construction of a custom in-ground pool with integrated Baja shelf for shallow lounging and a clean modern layout
- Installation of a fully integrated spa system, designed as a visual focal point and year-round feature
- Design and build of a sunken outdoor kitchen and seating area, creating a unique entertainment space connected to the pool
- Installation of large concrete slabs combined with artificial turf, forming a structured, modern landscape layout with strong geometric lines
- Application of top cast concrete finishes in selected areas for a textured, slip-resistant, and premium surface
- Construction of custom block walls to define the property, add privacy, and create a clean architectural boundary
- Installation of artificial turf throughout the front and backyard, providing a consistent, low-maintenance, and water-efficient landscape
- Integration of a complete LED lighting system, including pool lighting, landscape lighting, and ambient lighting for nighttime use
