New In-Ground Pool & Spa + Paver Deck Installation
A complete Pasadena backyard transformation combining a new in-ground swimming pool and spa, raised patio, block-wall construction, Paseo paver decking, Cobble walkways, premium pool finishes, PVC plumbing, and site drainage.
A new pool designed as part of the entire backyard.
This Pasadena property needed more than a new swimming pool. The pool, spa, deck, raised patio, walkways, steps, walls, plumbing, and drainage all needed to work together.
Paseo 1 and Paseo 2 pavers establish the primary pool-deck and patio surfaces, while Cobble 1 and Cobble 2 pavers define the walkways. Bellacarte coping, NPT glass tile, and Mini Pebble plaster complete the pool finish package.
Beneath the finished hardscape, PVC pool plumbing and a dedicated PVC drainage system were coordinated before the final pavers and pool finishes were installed.
New in-ground pool and integrated spa with premium coping, glass tile, and Mini Pebble finish.
Elevated patio area supported by new block-wall construction and coordinated step transitions.
Paseo deck pavers combined with Cobble walkway pavers for visual separation and circulation.
PVC pool plumbing and site drainage installed beneath the finished hardscape.
Before the transformation.
The existing property required a complete reorganization of the pool area, deck, walkways, circulation, and raised-patio zone.
One backyard. Multiple elevations and systems.
The visible finishes were only one part of the project. Elevations, drainage, plumbing, wall construction, hardscape transitions, and pool finishes all needed to be coordinated as one build.
Raised Patio Integration
The raised patio required new block-wall construction, bullnose step edges, elevation planning, and clean transitions into the surrounding paver deck.
Paver Transitions
Paseo pavers and Cobble pavers needed consistent elevations while still visually defining the pool deck, walkways, and patio areas.
Underground Infrastructure
Pool plumbing and site drainage had to be installed, tested, and coordinated before hardscape and pool finish work could be completed.
The work beneath the finished project.
Base preparation, elevation control, wall construction, pool infrastructure, plumbing, drainage, and hardscape preparation established the foundation for the final design.
Paseo deck pavers. Cobble walkways.
Paseo pavers were selected for the primary pool-deck and raised-patio surfaces. Cobble pavers create a distinct walkway system connecting the outdoor areas.
Coping, tile, plaster, and finishing details.
Bellacarte coping, NPT glass tile, Mini Pebble plaster, and the pool skimmer complete the visible and functional pool finish package.

The 3-Zone System™
The 3-Zone System™ helps us think beyond individual features. It organizes an outdoor property around arrival, everyday living, and activity so the finished space feels connected rather than pieced together.

Cobble paver walkways create intentional circulation through the property and establish clear transitions between outdoor areas.
Living Zone™
The raised patio creates a dedicated outdoor destination with its own elevation, paver surface, and direct relationship to the pool environment.
Activity Zone™
The new pool and spa anchor the recreational side of the project, surrounded by deck space for movement, swimming, and relaxation.
