West Adams, CA 90016 | COMPLETE BACKYARD REMODELING

This Los Angeles backyard began as a disconnected outdoor space and was reimagined into a cohesive, low-maintenance retreat with a strong architectural feel.

The transformation started with Angelus slat stone pavers, setting clean lines and structure throughout the yard. To soften the hardscape, we installed turf that brings in year-round greenery and contrast. A Bastion planter wall by Angelus Pavers added dimension and definition, creating natural separation while showcasing stone texture.

To tie the space together, we restored the existing wood deck with a fresh stain, bringing warmth back into the design. The finished backyard feels balanced and intentional modern, durable, and built for everyday outdoor living.

Before the Transformation

The original space had:

Complete Landscape Design & Build Scope

This project was executed as a full-service landscape transformation, where all elements were designed to work together seamlessly combining hardscape, softscape, and irrigation into one unified system.

The scope included:

  • Installation of premium artificial turf, creating a clean, green, low-maintenance surface that remains consistent year-round
  • Installation of gray moss slate stone pavers by Angelus, providing a modern, high-end look with durability and slip resistance
  • Construction of a Bastion planter wall, adding structure, elevation, and defined planting areas while enhancing the architectural feel of the space
  • Integration of a drip irrigation system, ensuring efficient water distribution for plants while minimizing water waste and maintenance
